Yes, notes do not justify illegal parking or parking outside of your permit zone. Enforcement officers will disregard any notes left on vehicles.
I purchased my permit. Where can I park?
Refer to the campus parking map by scanning the QR code on your permit sticker. The color of the lot may not match the color of your permit. Please only compare the name on your permit to the name of the zone (i.e., Freshman, Resident, Commuter, etc.).
How can I obtain a student guest pass?
Log in to the AIMs Parking Portal and select Order Permits. You will see the student guest pass option. Student guest passes are free of charge and are only valid for72 hours in the Vernon St. or Lancer Park visitor spaces.
Can I purchase a one semester permit instead of a full year permit?
You have the option to purchase a semester only permit if you are student teaching in the Spring semester, participating in a Spring internship, studying abroad, or graduating in December.
I often park on campus late and feel uncomfortable walking around campus after dark. How can I get to my destination safely?
Each parking lot has an emergency phone located near the entrance which rings directly to the Farmville Police Department Dispatch Center. Tell the Dispatcher you would like an escort to your destination. Provide a brief description and location of your car, return to the vehicle and lock your doors, and only exit your car when the police vehicle arrives.
